rava appam recipe - rava appam made using semolina, maida, jaggery and cardamom powder.

the recipe i saw in the cookbook which has some south indian sweets which are deep fried, but want to try less oil one. This recipe was tried by my Aunt and she recommended this recipe for instant craving. This recipe credit goes to my cookbook which was gifted by her.I used paniyaram pan to make this recipe, use either ghee or oil for making this appam. For better results use ghee for frying, serve piping hot and this stays very well for 2 days.

Soak the semolina/sooji/rava with enough water upto 2 hours to get soft appams.I soaked it for 1 1 /2 hours and then added maida and melted jaggery to it and then made the appam. For the flavoring, add the cardamom powder or crushed cardamom to the batter.lets move on making the recipe.,
