Well, we did manage to get a little bit of snow this morning but it never turned into the big storm they had threatened. Still, snow on April 20th stinks!
So far I've had a great week on the eating front, at least in my opinion. This is my umpteenth attempt at earning a #7daychip from Brad Gansberg and I'm just wrapping up Day Three. I think this is about the best I've done in previous attempts, which is pretty darn lame. Tomorrow has the potential to be dangerous if I am not careful as I'll be driving for a total of about 3 hours, and that means many potential stops at fast food places. I must resist.
Here's what I had to eat on Wednesday:

Lunch was a bento box of a sliced chilled poached chicken breast on a bed of mini-cucumbers, a side of poppy seed dressing, Some shredded lettuce with a little diced tomato, a half cup or so of cheddar goldfish, and some yogurt. I had an avocado for a late afternoon snack.
Today is my son's birthday so he got his favorite birthday meal – Lasagana Hamburger Helper (don't ask!). I also had a small salad of baby arugula with a couple of sweet peppers, some slices of mini-cucumber, a Hawaiin bread roll and a glass of skim milk. Small piece of birthday cake.
For the second night in a row, I just had an Odell IPA (A- on the Beer Advocate) that I forgot to snap a picture of. Still drinking actually.
Over at Fatbloggers I wrote about my new weight loss strategy – only eating 75% of what's put in front of me. So far after three days it's actually pretty surprising to see everything I didn't eat which I normally would have.
Here's what I didn't eat today:
So that's Day Three in my never-ending quest to bag a #7daychip and get back on track.
So how do you think I did? Click a star!
