Raise your Voice for a Cleaner India

The campaigns have started all over Indiafor clean and green roads, a clean nation and all thanks to the person behind this, Mr. Modi. But Swacch Bharat is actually a cleaner India? With all due respects to the efforts and all the people taking this positively and passing on the motivation, I personally believe; the Cleaner India is still far ahead. We need to clean the weeds, clean the minds of lakhs of people living here in the country for a true Clean India.Let me take an example… We have protested, we have debated endlessly how the culprits need to be punished and all in the Nirbhaya’s case. But what about those idiots who didn’t step forward to give her a piece of clothing when she was lying on the road, all hurt.. bleeding.. near to death suffering in pain; did she have to lie there on the road for nearly 40 mins for the passersby to stop and see? And another 1 hr for the Police to decide under which area’s jurisdiction the case comes?Couldn’t someone just give a piece of clothing first? Solve the case later? All this happened in a Metro, what about those not so popular interiors of the Country; cases happening there don’t even come to light many times let alone a protest or justice. And even talking about Protest, we cry we crib we make noise and then move on. Why can’t a rule be passed where in the culprit gets a horrible death so the rest of the goons behave. How many such cases do we need to get a rule where in one doesn’t have to wait for the next to give a Judgement. Straight… unbelievably horrible punishment! Why are the culprits (like in Nirbhaya’s case) have to be even put through Court case and all? And why protest for such inhumans that they be treated like humans? Culprits be treated like humans? What about the inhuman acts they do? For pleasure or the kick that they get out of it, the day the law becomes lenient and they get treated like humans; the whole purpose of protest for that heartbreaking incident goes to drain. Aren’t we hypocrites? Why did it take so long to deliver the justice when the evidence was clear and was battling for life in the hospital? I and you can go on still talking over that case and many more which don’t see the light… but what good comes out of it if the laws and rules are not strict?Even today that story makes me shiver, scares me to death and curse myself for being born as a girl. We don’t have security, we don’t have safety and the law is annoyingly lenient to such goons. And its time we protest for a stricter rule, for a nerve wracking punishment which every dirty mind even thinking to commit a crime like that should be scared, should shiver with the mere thought of it. Then, my friends we have got the Country clean.I agree, this is just one issue and there are many more big and small that needs attention. But instead of thinking and keep it to ourself, raising a voice against such will oneday get some result. So again I insist, do not just see and walk away, do not just pretend that its not your business and move on; just be human and lend a hand if you can to help the person or atleast Raise a Voice loud enough so others can join, others would be forced to see and think and respond!!
