Yesterday was a lovely dayMy Dad came down to mind the dogsAnd we headed off at about 3pmI slept most of the journeyAnd we arrived at about 5 pmAfter a quick cuppaWe went in to townI of course hit the shopsBut wasn't really in shopping modeSo just bought a little gray cardiganAfter walking around for a while We headed home to get ready to go out for dinnerI declined to goAs it would just be a waste for me to go out and eat good foodKnowing where it would probably end upSo I stayed at home with my tea and crisps
