I am 30 weeks pregnant now which means mornings are getting tougher as the third trimester tiredness kicks in. When I have work I try and keep my make up simple and the application quick so I can have that extra 5 minutes sleep. I thought I would share with you some of the products I have been using this week to make me look more alive in the mornings.
Firstly for the base I have been reaching for the L'Oreal True Match Foundation which is an old favorite of mine. Its one of the few low end foundations that matches my winter pale skin perfectly, it gives a semi matte finish but still feels very light on the skin. I love it.
To help with the dark circles there is two products I have been relying on recently. The Max Factor Colour Corrector which is a yellow toned pencil, concealer type product that helps to cancel out any darkness under the eyes and just brighten the area.
Over the top of that I use the Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer to add some more coverage and brightness.
On the lids I used one of the new Colorband 2 in 1 Eyeshadow & Liners in 02 Brun Dadaiste. Eyeshadow pencils are perfect for a quick and easy eye look, I am still testing these out at the moment and will be doing a review on them soon. Lets just say after being very excited about them initially I am now a little on fence about them.
To finish the eyes I applied many layers of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara which is a new favorite of mine. It coats every lash and lasts all day without smudging. It is great if you like full on lashes.
I powdered my t-zone with the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Powder which I am liking a lot and then dusted the Makeup Revolution Bronzer all over to give my very pale skin some color.
For the cheeks I wanted a winter pink flush and used one of the new Puff Blushes from Max Factor in Gorgeous Berries. To look at these they remind me of the Hourglass Ambient Blushes but I have not tried those so can't compare. These Max Factor ones are amazing though.
Lastly on the lips I used Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked. This is a great everyday shade that can be paired with any look. One of my favorite lipsticks.
Looking at it all written down it seems like a lot of makeup but this look literally only takes me 5-10 minutes max.
Have you tried any of these products? What is your go to quick makeup look?
