It begins on a metallically effected guitar riff. One that you wouldn't quite think of when it came to Jamie T, moreso from the likes of the hundreds of relatively generic Indie Bands that are currently sweeping the likes of NME and Q Magazine. However, when that vocal starts it's very easy to hear our boy Jamie in him, although, there also seems to be a twang that is very similar to that of King Charles. The bohemian mixture of these two really does sort it self out to be one of the most brilliant things we've managed to hear this year and, albeit very important for us that a Jamie T-esque character is about the industry, it is also very important to us that they carry their own individuality too and, OnlyReal, does this oh too well.
The melancholic aura of the song is one that we're accustomed to with this sort of act and, the subject matter in question is also something that you'll have heard before, but this doesn't mean that you should shy away and, in fact, we think we've cottoned on to something bloody incredible here - we hope you'll agree.
Paul.
