The basic cognitive mood of the female is something like ambivalence. Women are subject to such a wild storm of feelings most of the time due to the way female hormones effect the mind (It’s not their fault that they’re so moody and difficult, guys!) that a woman may have 5-10 different feelings and associated cognitions running around in her brain at any given time. This is one of the main reasons that men call women flaky and crazy.
As a man you are not supposed to be ambivalent. Lead, follow, or get out of the way. Shit or get off the pot. Do something, dammit! Being indecisive and having trouble making decisions is seen as feminine behavior, and if you have a girlfriend/wife and you act this way around her, she is not going to like it.
Since she’s a woman, she generally can’t make up her mind about most things, and many women lack confidence and have low self esteem and many self doubts once again as normal consequences of the female condition. They’re not crazy at all. They’re supposed to be this way! This is the way women act.
Getting mad at women for acting like women is like getting mad at your cat for acting like a cat. Your cat acts nuts and tries to scratch you sometimes. Do you really think it is at fault? Of course not. That’s just what cats do. Cats act like cats and women act like women. Cats aren’t evil when they act like cats, even when they bite you for no reason, and women aren’t evil for acting like women, even though they’re moody as a human hurricane.
Once you understand that ambivalence is the basic emotional and cognitive set of the female, you can understand them a lot better.
