Last week I wrote about how well Little Mr A is getting on at school after a shaky start. Well last week Big Mr A and I attended his parents evening.
We sat down to have a look at his tray of work whilst waiting for his teacher. We were really impressed with how much he has come on since Reception. His writing in particular has improved hugely.
When it was time to sit down with his teacher we weren’t overly concerned as we know how bright he is, however, we weren’t expecting quite such a glowing report! We were told he is soaring, particularly in his reading and writing and is going to be moving up a phonics group.
His teacher is also impressed with how quickly he is picking up number work and, with him being the youngest in his year she is generally really pleased with all of his work.
We walked out of school beaming and incredibly proud! Keep up the good work Little Mr A!
