Product Review: Yumi Organic Rose Hip Seed Oil
If you're into organics or all-natural beauty regimen, you may already be familiar with this miracle oil called "Rose Hip Seed Oil."
I first heard of rose hip seed oil from a Sebo de Macho (scar treatment/eraser balm) obsessed aunt who wanted to get rid of an old scar on her leg. Apparently, rose hips were used by the ancient Egyptians, Mayans and Native Americans as a natural remedy because of their wonder healing properties. Harvested from the seeds of rose bushes predominately grown in Chile, rose hip seed oil is full of antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins such as vitamin E, vitamin C and B-carotene, a form of vitamin A. that are known to reduce fine lines, erase dark spots and scars as well as hydrate dry, itchy skin and scalp.

I apply it on by misting my face first with Evian facial mist to make my face a little damp which helps absorb the oil faster. Then, I apply the oil in a circular motion starting down on my chin, cheeks, then forehead for a good, lifting massage. Lastly, I apply it around my eyes in a patting motion carefully avoiding the waterline so as not to get oil in your eyes. Oh, and two days, I exfoliate my skin before applying the oil to help my skin really absorb the oil and maximize the benefits. That's it!
You can also use it to target problem areas; dry, rough, inflamed skin. Or add it to your favorite lotion. Whatever your skin type; normal, dry or oily - even sensitive and mature skin - rosehip serum soothes and moisturizes.
