My pregnancy has left me with some skin discolorations particularly on my elbows and underarms. Though they have faded significantly, I want them to go back to their normal state fast. Thankfully, Godiva sent me a set of their new improved whitening products to try.
To date, I’ve been using the LicoWhite Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for about 2 weeks already and here’s my verdict:
What I like:
-I can see some lightening already.
-As a deodorant, It holds up to 24 hours.
-It’s unscented.
-It’s paraben-free
-It doesn’t irritate my sensitive underarms skin. No sting, no redness at all!
-It washes off easily.
-It doesn’t dry my skin.
-Very affordable at P89.
What I don’t like:
-It doesn’t hold up well as an anti-perspirant unless you’re wearing sleeveless. It’s not ideal for those who engage in strenuous activities.
-It takes a while to dry. If you’re in a hurry, you’ll have to stand in front of a fan to dry up fast.
-It contains triclosan.
Overall, it’s a good everyday underarm protection. I also like how it performs as a whitening product. I just hope that they will stay true to their claim as “natural skin care” by using safe & ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS. Even better if they will go organic!
