If there’s any part of my body that I don’t like, it’s my hair. It’s dry, buhaghag and wavy. Buti sana kung “beach-y wavy” or something, but noooo - yung pangit na wavy that takes so much effort to look decent so I usually just tie it up in a ponytail or have it rebonded once every 2 years!
Since I don’t wanna stress about it, I don’t bother with it so much anymore. I just shampoo and conditioner everyday, trim when it gets super long and rebond when I have the budget -that’s it! It’s just recently that I had it colored, I don’t normally…
Para di naman mashadong kawawa, I at least use good quality shampoos and conditioners and preferably those that have all-natural ingredients, like Be Organic Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. The first time I’ve used the set, I knew it would be one of my staples. Ang ganda nya sa hair, promise! Argan oil has been touted as Hollywood’s secret beauty elixir. Considered the crème de la crème of cosmetic oils an is a natural treatment for dry hair, split ends, and scalp-health issues.BeOrganic’s Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner are made with pure organic Moroccan Argan oil, extremely rich in antioxidants and nutrients that boast natural healing properties that repairs and nourishes damaged hair, moisturizes instantly, restores shine and prevents split ends.
I finished the whole bottle of both the shampoo and conditioner before coming up with a verdict and here are my thoughts…What I love about the shampoo:
-PROUDLY PINOY!
-Made of all-natural, good quality ingredients - NO PARABEN, PTHALATES, SULFATES & other harsh chemicals.
-Safe on color-treated hairs.
-Has a nice floral scent which reminds me of my lolo’s garden flowers.
-Very gentle and doesn’t make my hair dry.
-It doesn’t make my hair fall.
-It doesn’t give me flakes or dandruff.
-If I skip a day between washes (rebonded hair), my hair would still be bango and does not get itchy. Other shampoos usually make my head itch if I skip a wash!
My concerns:
-Since it has no synthetic foaming agent, I tend to use more than the
usual amount. I got used to it eventually.
-It doesn’t weigh your hair down. For some that’s great, but for those with buhaghag hair like mine..nah-ah!
-You can’t skip the conditioner or your hair will get tangled easily.
-It’s a little pricey.
What I love about the conditioner:
-PROUDLY PINOY!
-Made of all-natural, good quality ingredients - NO PARABEN, PTHALATES, SULFATES & other harsh chemicals.
-It’s in a pump containet that is very convenient.
-Safe on color-treated hairs.
-Has a nice floral scent the same with the shampoo.
-Has a nice, thick texture.
-Smoothens my hair and help keeps it tangle-free.
-It doesn’t give me flakes or dandruff.
-It keeps my hair moisturized
My concerns:
I understand that it will not perform as same as the normal, silicone-based conditioners so I’m really ok with it just keeping my hair tangle-free and moisturized, I just wish that it’s a little more affordable! :)
Overall you can see that I’m fairly impressed with both the shampoo and the conditioner. And despite my concerns, I must say that I would definitely still continue to use them!
Chemically-abused hairs would sure benefit from these products. Try it, give your tresses some lovin’ and let me know whatchu think!
