after a long long time, I guess I am talking about something totally Indian, totally herbal and completely chemical free.
To start off, our area has a patanjali store since years but never was interested and I never knew it has something for everybody. All I thought that it was a yoga ashram :P

Direction of use:
Prepare a paste by adding one tea spoon full of Divya Patanjali Kanti Lep with rose water or un-boiled milk. Apply it on the face and keep it for three to four hours and then wash with luke-warm water. How long to take it?

I guess I am going to write a lot in this section. Before I got this, I read too many reviews about this product. Many of them praised, little of them skipped and most of them were quick reviews.
I am never a quick review person, I use and analyze a product thoroughly before jumping and letting my readers to a conclusion.
I bought this thinking that it would cure my untimely pimples. Least I thought this would lighten any marks.
Coming to the package, the product comes in an off white sturdy plastic bottle with an orange screw cap with the patanjali patent symbol.

The first impression seeing the powder was nice. Because I felt that this is a powder of dried herbals. Later on, when I smelled it, I could smell camphor which I loved(Many of the bloggers wrote the smell is just awful I wasn’t knowing why). Anyway, when I used it by mixing it with rose water, the pack was easy to apply and super easy to rinse.
This gave a nice healthy glow but dried my skin. Definitely not for this harsh winters I thought. I kept using it for 5-6 weeks. Twice/thrice a week depending upon my free time. The package gives mild tingling sensation, may be coz of camphor. But at the same time, a nice cooling effect. I loved the pack when I observed that it shrunk my open pores and reduced the pimples in no time. I have tried and tested the pack as a spot treatment on my pimples and it dried them up without leaving marks.
Before you jump into conclusion...wait...

After 4-5 weeks, I observed the fact that it smelled awful. More like cow dung. It smelled so bad that I could hardly keep the pack for 20 mins. I reduced the pack drying time from 30mins to 10mins. I just wash off in 10 mins flat! That’s how horrible it smelled.
So, the conclusion is the effectiveness of the pack is same for many weeks but, the smell of the freshly bought bottle is good but it doesn’t stay like that for weeks. Try finishing the bottle as soon as possible and then buy one more. Else, use the bottle for 4 weeks and then buy a new one. Now I realized, why most of the bloggers wrote it smelled horrible. PROS: 1. Very much effective in curing pimples and dark spots. 2. So much product for so less price. 3. Completely herbal and chemical free hence no side effects. 4. Gives a healthy glow once you clean it up. 5. Available in all the Patanjali stores across the nation. 6. Travel friendly,sturdy package. Cons: 1. After few weeks, the powder smells awful which signs that you gotta use it asap. 2. That's it. Final Words: I have an oily combination skin and it dried up my skin when used in winters when used it with rose water. So, try mixing the powder with thick milk cream(malai) when you use in winters. But I am sure that this will be my go to product in summers. Dry skin people, you must be using it with malai any day. Freindly Advice: Store in an air tight container to retain the good smell for long period of time.
