Try a product that scares you!- SSU

Yet this is another rant time on SSU. I recently purchased Rose and Co Rose Petal salve from Nykaa as I have heard good things about it and how it is a perfect beauty balm.
Alas! All my hopes faded.

Packaging: Comes in a round tin container, which can be reused and the box can be recycled. SSU is all hearts for stuff that can be Reduced. Reused. Recycled .Texture: The balm has the light pink hue and a waxy texture, as it's a derivative of paraffin wax. I found that it's an overtly claimed and a hyped product. The lip balm hardly stays for 15 minutes, making me run for the tub in another 15 minutes. I wonder, how this product survives the cold winters of the west when It's failing miserably in the Indian subcontinent.
The fragrance is mild rose one which is the plus point. The company claims, that it can be used as a balm to highlight the cheeks, to get an extra glow on eyelids, as a balm to cure any cut.
To my surprise and happiness, it did work nicely on the burn. My husband got a burn on his hand and I applied it to test if it really works on cuts and bruises, and also the fact well I couldn't find Burnol (India's most loved ointment for burns). It did relieve him of the burning sensation as he claimed! It has become like that one treasured object in my vanity, that I can't discard and have to keep for the price, I paid for it. Also, to use it as a coolant.
I was wondering if I had to get that 'Vaseline wala glow', why would I end up spending so much on a product??
But to err is human!!Buy this only if you want to splurge and try so-called cult-favourite Rose Petal Salve lip balm. Otherwise, I'd suggest checking out other brands for lip balms which work good without making a dent in our wallets. Also, they are readily available in the Indian market.
