For the last couple of months i have been getting ready for winter and getting clothing ready for the cold nights and frosty mornings, Usually around about October / November time is when i am out shopping for my winter clothing and shoes. Well not this year because i have been putting on so much weight over the last couple of months and finding a jacket and a body warmer wasn't gonna be a straight forward progress, Usually i go into shops like ASDA New look or Matalan to see what kinda jackets that was out for the coming winter and i would try them on and to see how they would look on and also if there is any space and gather for me to wear a jumper is well. I used to be a size 18 - 20 in a jacket and a bodywarmer in almost anything and a few years back my mom bought me a lovely jacket from walls and this was over £100 and it was lovely and fitted me like a dream, The sad news was that i ended up giving this jacket to my auntie because it just didn't fit me any more. At the start of the year i had to chuck and give all my jackets and coats away to family and charity because none of the jackets was just using space that i needed for new items. The coats that i enjoy the most are the long ones that comes above your knee and for some reason these are the only style of coats thats fits me and all the other designs doesn't. I have been looking almost everywhere online for a new jacket and body warmer and the only place that came to mind was plus size shops and i have shopped on one before and that was Yours clothing and i found that a size uk 20 was kinda big because at the time i was only a size 18 when i ordered this top , So i looked at all the local places online like Next New Look ASDA and there was nothing that i seemed to like and then i was thinking to take a look on some plus size sites and there i found was some of the most beautiful jackets and coats that i have seen in a very long time and they was just the ones that i was looking for as well, I was kinda scared about ordering from a plus size shop because of my weight but i wasn't gonna let someone bully me because the way i am buy ordering from a Plus size shop, I had a look at all the coats jackets and body warmers on every plus size shop and there wasn't much of a choice for body warmers and none that i really liked, So i had a look around and then i couldn't make my mind up on what jacket i wanted as they was so lovely and well designed. In the end i got this one from Simply Be.. Simply Be Fit & Flare Mac @ £50
At £50.00 it wasn't a cheap item and i was worried because it might not fit because of my size and weight, I placed my order from Simply be on 2nd November and it came kinda quick, The box and presentation was absolutely stunning and when i pulled it from the box it was gorgeous. I was worried because of the size of it i thought it was gonna be massive on me but i tried it on and it looked very good on me and fitted me like a dream, I felt that the jacket was very well made and very warm as well, I love this jacket and it is one of the best ones that i have bought in a long time. I will continue to wear this over the winter months and get some wear out of it.Also i have been having problems finding Bodywarmers / Gillette to fit me for the same period of time i used to have one witch i bought from New Look almost 10 years ago and this was a size 20 and this was just a basic cream winter Body warmer from there plus size range, I cannot remember how much it was but as time got on i progressed in weight and it just didn't fit me anymore and plus the zip wound't do up on me. So i was on the hunt about for a new one and there was not a lot of options for people like me who needs plus size things and i had checked every plus size shop eBay and ASDA for one. I went into ASDA to buy one as they was kinda cheap and i really liked it and i thought to myself that i would try one on to see what it would be like on me. So i tried on a size 20 and a size 22 and they fitted me but i couldn't do the zips up on them and i was shocked and in tears because it was a lovely item. So as time went on and i was getting so angry that i deiced to look again on sites like eBay etc and i managed to find one that i was originally gonna get from Yours clothing viva there online store when i said to myself that i really didn't like it and i wanted something with more fur on the hood. So i had a look at one more plus size shop and there it was the perfect body warmer for me with plenty of fur around the hood and i was then unsure on what size i would need so my mom told me that i would need 3 sizes more because it is padded and shaped and i said well if the jacket fits me at the size this is and then it would be perfect for me. I am planning to buy this Gillette on my next pay day at the end of the month ready for my trip to Birmingham. The Item is called Curvissa Fax Fur Trim Gilet @ £38
This is the only one that i have seen and liked so far and also they come in either black or blue colours, There are more options out there for body warmers etc but i just don't like them and this one looks more warmer and more fitted and its gonna last me for a while i think.Rianna
