Printed Coffee Prints (For Coffee Bar)

Good morning y'all! It's Friday at last!  Today, I am posting a simple project I made this weekend that I would love to share with you.  Both the husband and I are coffee addicts, so it is pretty obvious that we like coffee in our house 24/7.  I decided to make a simple mini coffee bar in our kitchen.  It is still a work in progress but coming along very well.  I am still figuring out how to store and organize the supplies and the utensils, but I would soon post photos and talk about it more when I finish it.  For now, I'm sharing with you something I made for the coffee bar.  It is pretty simple and easy to recreate if you want to.  Here's how I did it.
For this project, I used the following:
1.  Scissors
2.  Photo transfer paper
3.  Iron
4.  Thick canvas
You will also need frames, of course! :) First thing I did was to pick some nice photos from Google.  I got my photos from here, here, here, and here.  Pick photos that are large with nice resolution so the printed version would be clearer and not pixelated.  Print them on your photo transfer paper.  The photo transfer paper I got from our T-shirt printing business but you can buy yours at craft stores or National Book Store.Next, get your canvas and lay it on a flat surface.  Get the transfer paper and place it printed side down then iron until the print transfers.  This would require a super hot iron so be careful.  Another option which the husband did was to place it in our heat press.  We used to have a t-shirt printing business and this I must say this is one of the best perks of having one.  It is easier and the print transfers evenly, but you could always use an iron if you do not have a heat press machine.Next, all you have to do now is to cut the canvas according to the size of your frames.  The first idea I had for this project was to wrap it on illustration boards so it would look like "paintings" but the husband suggested that I place them in frames to protect it from dust.
Once cut, follow the husband's advice and place it on frames.  I think it looks way nicer than if I put them on illustration boards.  I picked dark brown wooden frames with gold trims.  I think it matches the prints perfectly.
Now, all we had to do was hang our frames, well the husband did it for me, and this is how it looked like after.  I loooove how it turned out.  My favorite one is the coffee owl.  Which one is your favorite?
