Prima Marketing : Bible Journaling

I've been having a wonderful time creating in my journaling bible especially with Prima Marketing products.  There are a range of wonderful products like stickers, journaling cards, patterned papers , beautiful stamps and many more that you can create with. My favorite Prima mediums are the gesso and oil pastels. They worked great on the bible pages and the end result is beautiful! I started by applying yellow + green oil pastels onto the butterfly cling stamp, then stamped it onto the page. Next I stamped with gray ink to redefine the image. Once I was done with the positioning the stickers  I added leaf wreath and leaf branches to enhance the design, and painted them with green oil pastel. I love how saturated the colours are. Tip: Be sure to place a piece of cardstock/plastic sheet at the back of the page you are working on so it will protect the other pages from staining.

Once that dried, I embellished the page with fussy-cut butterflies and stickers. A simple + bright page that really suits my style! I really love the fact that Prima has awesome products for me to create on my journaling Bible.

What I did was prime the margin with Art Basics Clear Gesso, then applied a few strokes of blue oil pastel. I used a water-brush pen to blend the oil pastels to achieve a water-colour look. Then I fussy cut the roses that were on the journaling note cards and pasted them on.
