Petroleum Products prices slashed
Ministry of Petroleum has approved slashing prices of petroleum products with effect from 22-October 2012. All the petroleum products will witness minor reductions. Prices of kerosene oil will go down by Rs0.61 while light diesel, Petrol and diesel will witness reduction of Rs0.25, Rs2.32 and Rs0.33 respectively. Revised prices will be Petrol 101.8 paisa, diesel 113.29 paisa, Kerosene oil 103.26 paisa and Light Diesel 97.68 paisa per liter respectively.
Revised Prices will remain enforced till next Sunday i.e. till 28-12-2012. There are slight chances that prices of petroleum products may remain unchanged due to Eid Holidays. Petroleum prices are being fixed on weekly basis in Pakistan
Apart from Petroleum products, prices of CNG have also been reduced. Ministry of petroleum has approved an average decrease of PKR 2.0/KG.
