
Tandy lives in South Africa, so I had to convert some of the ingredients. My pet peeve with American cooking is how we measure. No other country measures like we do. Everyone else uses the metric system. There were a few ingredients I was unsure of. I am usually up on the latest food trends so when I come across something that I am unable to identify, I find it intriguing. For instance a recipe or two had a ingredient listed as Canderel Yellow so I googled it and found out that it is a type of sweetener. I also googled Courgette and found out that it was a British type of zucchini. I had priced store bought preserved lemons and was shocked at how expensive they are.
