A few weeks ago I did something kind of crazy.
I sent three total strangers one dozen cookies each.
That is right, I sent a dozen cookies to Washington DC, Franklin TN, and Lancaster NY.
You are probably wondering why I did such a thing? I joined the The Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap. It is the brain child of both Lindsey at Love and Olive Oil and Julie from The Little kitchen.
They raise money for Cookies for kids cancer. I figure it was for such a wonderful cause how could I resist?
In return I got a dozen cookies from A Couple in the Kitchen, The Inside Dish and Beth’s Blue Plate. They were all delicious.
If you are interested in doing our cookie swap next year, you can Subscribe here and they will keep you updated for next year.
The reason why they call these cookies preacher cookies is because they are so quick to make. If the preacher is coming up the road for a visit, you can have these cookies cooling on the counter as he enters the door.
