I was quite surprised when I walked into Poundland the other day and discovered they had a make up stand in there. Now don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting much from it but the make up obsessive inside me wanted to check what they had out.I decided to pick up a nail polish as a safe bet and went for a festive colour, Scarlett Sparkle which is a burgundy red with flecks of shimmer/tiny glitter in it.
I was pleasantly surprised when applying this nail polish, it definitely needed a good two coats to be opaque but it went on smooth and the glitter really stood out. I did find it chipped after two days but that something that doesn't bother me too much as I like to change up my nail color regularly
Overall I think this was a great find. For £1 these would make great stocking fillers and for young girls who are just starting out in make up I think this range would be perfect. I am interested to see what other products are like.
