3/4 cup 2% milk
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
Directions:
In a blender combine blue berries, banana and milk. Blend until desired thickness.

This is a low-calorie, high protein, great tasting snack for after your workout that is easy to make for your busy life. For extra calories add some natural peanut butter. Experiment with your favorite fruits to make your favorite smoothie. If you like it thicker you can add some fat-free yogurt as well. Don’t forget the protein powder. Protein is important just after your workout. This is when protein synthesis occurs.
If you are looking to lose weight you need to be eating every 3-4 hours. This will keep your metabolism up and keep your blood sugars under control. Just be cautious of how many calories you are consuming. Eat smaller meals more frequently. Smoothies will make a great healthy snack between meals.
