With a new year comes new opportunity, and also a chance to peek back on the memorable moments of the year before. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite posts from 2012 (and a few fun pics along the way). The SoCal Blogger Meetup in La Jolla (where I first met the amazingly hilarious Ashley of House of Glass) and our artsy paint and wine night where I was introduced to West Elm Home Stylist (and future Nook & Sea design contributor), Jessica Packard.
Celebrating one year of Nook & Sea and getting to know Kirby & Alexa of The Short & The Sweet Of It. Recapping our summer trip to Alaska (Skagway, the chilly Tracy Arm Fjord and Juneau). Testing out eyelash extensions at Burke Williams and attempting to make my own coconut sea spray recipe for beachy waves.
Storytelling our quick trip to Napa Valley with Amanda and Will. Playing with brussel sprout recipes, celebrating our two year anniversary and learning to deal with goals and expectations. Dreaming big with World Market, celebrating super cute photos and a night out with Pollinate Media and Madewell.
Overall, it would be IMPOSSIBLE to list just one favorite moment of the year. The relationships and friendships that have been made through blogging are nothing short of amazing, and I feel like I’ve known some of these girls my whole life. I’ve been turned on to opportunity, growth and lasting creative inspiration, and have all of you to thank for your readership, support and dedication.
