Portugal Haul

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
Portugal Haul So I am firmly back on British soil and thought I would share with you the bits I picked up in Portugal. (I also went to beauty Olympia yesterday so there might be another haul to come. Spending ban starts 1st October!) I told myself I would only buy products that were a lot cheaper than in the uk or brands I can't get. So to begin with I picked up a Mac Lipstick from duty free in Stansted. I asked for the shade Rebel but ended up with the shade Retro which by the looks of swatches online isn't really my color so I am going to see if I can exchange it. The first thing in Portugal I picked up was the Prestige My Blackest Lashes Mascara (9.95 Euros), we used to have this brand here and this mascara is fantastic so I knew I had to have it when I sore it. A couple of days into the holidays I popped to the supermarket with my brothers friend I was staying with and discovered the brand Catrice. I had heard of this brand before but was unaware of where to get it from so you can imagine the little squeal I did when I saw the stand. It was hard not to grab everything and I did seem to head towards the eye shadows more than anything.I decided to get the Absolute Nude Palette (5.69 Euros), 2 of the Liquid Metals Eyeshadows (4.59 Euros each) , an Intensif'Eye Wet & Dry Shadow (4.39 Euros) , a Defining Blush (3.99 Euros) and one of their Ultimate Colour Lipsticks (4.59 Euros)
On my last day we went to the big shopping center in Porto that was near the airport. This was mainly so I could visit Sephora! I got a couple of bits from the sephora brand, a travel size bottle of the Triple Action Cleansing Water (3.90 Euros) and a Crayon Jumpo 12H Jumbo Liner in Taupe (10.90 Euros). I also picked up the well hyped Make Up Forever Aqua Cream in 13 (24.90 Euros) which is a gorgeous champagne type color.  Just when you think you are being good and only getting a few items you get suckered into all the little products around the till. I decided to get the Daily Make Up Brush Cleanser (6.50 Euros) and give it a try as I am getting low on the No7 one I am currently using. I was also suckered into getting the L'Oreal Voluminousness Mascara because it was 5 Euros and a lot cheaper than in the UK.
So I think I was fairly restrained which I am happy about. I need to concentrate on getting some winter boots and clothes so no more male up shopping for me for a while.
Have you tried any of these brand before, what's your thoughts?
