Porsche Verse Motor Home

I am writing this blog 250 NM south of Bermuda motor sailing 6.0 knots SW not S where we want to GO burning $7.50 Gal fuel from Bermuda (That SUCKS), BEATING in to weather. ( OK Could be worse, could be the 30 kn winds 45 kn gust we beat into last day from New Port to Bermuda. ( Yes I know I could have waited for the weather the be in the right direction so i did this to my self but I am very ready to have my Family back on board just not the same boat/home with out us together.
We left Bermuda with two Swans 48 and 55 ie" the Porsche us the Bruce Roberts ie" the Motor Home. We have been some what able to keep up ( Ok getting are ass Kicked )but we are cheating and throwing cruising Kitty it the sea. We have been using are motor to keep momentum up while sailing to be able to point up to 30dg and keep heading somewhat southerly direction. The Swans on the other hand are heading up with no motor and about 1.5 kns Faster. Seems very nice to have the Porsche at this moment in time. I Have to keep reminding myself that are Motor Home is very nice on the other end of the trip and that we are cruising and a little extra time does not matter. But I am sick of listening to motor , beating into waves and wind in my faces. Please someone send wind in different direction. I still love my Motor Home. Just have to remember I did this to myself I knew this would be the weather for first few days.
By the way this is why I Carl never write blogs because they come out all wrong on paper , cant spell and grammer sucks. See you all in the Caribbean or not if you are a land folk !
