Book review of Poo! What is that smell? by Glenn Murphy
A little while ago Little Mr A was sent a new book from Pan Macmillan, Poo! What is that smell? written by Glenn Murphy with illustrations by Lorna Murphy.
This paperback book tells you all you need to know about the five senses including which animal has the biggest eyes, what is inside your ears, why sweaty socks smell so bad, why foods taste different, why we can touch and feel items as well as lots more.
Little Mr A is really enjoying learning new facts at the moment so this book was great for him. Because of the way the book is laid out, he could read a few facts then put the book down and come back to it later.
There are lots of interesting and funny facts in the book which he really enjoyed reading and it kept him entertained.
I think this book is great for any children who are at school and enjoy learning new things. I think it is especially good for children who can read by themselves as it is a great book to be able to pick up then put down after reading a few paragraphs or a chapter.
We will definitely be keeping an eye out for other books by this author.
