Playtime

These two girls had something in common besides their ages (around 4 or 5) and playfulness: the fact that they where very young among their older siblings, therefore didn’t have someone their age to play with, and also their infinite curiosity in us. I called them Linda and Chiquita, because their names where very difficult to pronounce and their mothers only knew how to write them in cyrillic alphabet.

At first, they where a little shy then, despite the strong language barrier, they started to play with us, teaching us the name of things in Mongolian and laughing like crazy, singing for us and playing around with my camera after finding out how the machine worked. They were very smart and hilarious kids, unafraid, innocent and perfect!
