Hiking in Sibiu, RomaniaOne of the nicest trips I’ve been to in Europe in these past 2 years was to Romania, to the Carpathians. It was a trip where I felt the most vulnerable with someone (in the good sense). After some time I realised that this particular trip to this beautiful place was more than just scratching a country from my mental map, it was a trip of self realisation: I was with the person I wanted to be with in that moment, and that I was happy.
This photo represents a lot of what was going on inside me at that time: the fog was clearing out and showing me the path I had to follow. We didn’t know what would lie ahead (it was pretty foggy), but as the fog settled the landscape was showing us it’s beautiful layers.
