Little Miss A was recently sent a lovely personalised book from Penwizard (which you may have seen in my Mother's Day gift guide).
The book we received was Peppa Pig's 'My Mummy'. Being a huge Peppa Pig fan, I knew Little Miss A would love this book!
Creating your book on the Penwizard site is very straightforward. You simply need to enter their name (and a personal message if you wish). You can then choose the gender, hair colour, eye colour and skin colour. You can even add glasses to the character too!
For this particular book you can also personalise the 'Mummy' character to look like their Mummy (my likeness was uncanny!) and also add a second child if you wish.
That's it! You can then preview your book before you order.
The book arrived very quickly (within a few days) after ordering.
Little Miss A took to it straightaway. We read it numerous times once it arrived and she is now pointing to the characters and recognising us as well as Peppa and George!
The quality of the book is great and the story is nice and simple for little one's to understand and follow. The illustrations are also lovely and I think it is great you can personalise the characters so much.
Little Mr A has also loved reading this book to Little Miss A and really enjoys the fact that they both have starring roles!
Priced at £14.99 it is more expensive than I would usually pay for a book, however, because of all of the personalisation, I think it makes a really special gift that your child can keep for a long time (I still have a personalised book from my childhood that I love reading with Little Mr A!).
If your child isn't a fan of Peppa Pig, there are lots of other characters to choose from such as Ben and Holly, Noddy and Roary the Racing Car amongst others.
These books really do make a lovely keepsake and are something that little bit special.
