In every post from now onwards,you will see my ideas,some memories and some tricks am going to share along with the recipe post and sure you will encourage me throughout this year like before.Yes,i want to share more and want to write more than recipes,so from this month you will see more memories and my experiences.

Want to lose weight ,but not with strict diet eating fresh salad or something with salad dressing.I dont want that kinda food for losing weight.Instead am following regular diet with Indian food and as the usual recipes only and changed some proportions of intake now.My friend told me to take black tea or black coffee and dont add milk.But i cant,unable to do that because i want to maintain or reduce my weight naturally with what am taking right from my childhood and thats the nature ,right?so i changed some intake of food and included more fibres like more beans and green veggies in diet.

My changed menu is my regular routine during my college days but somehow i did not followed after that.The result is weight gain and more indulging in desserts,not only that was the reason and i don't have any work in home comparing to the work in native.Felt lazy sometimes and workouts sometimes,but the result is nothing.So keeping me busy i rescheduled my entire timings,in accordance with my college days.Really it helping a lot and feel more refreshing than any other time ,feeling more light now.

If you want to lose weight naturally,then take your dinner before 7 pm and this will help you a lot and you did not feel heavy when you are going to sleep.As i already told in my previous post,i did not want to take dinner after 8 or 9 pm because,i feel more heavy and was sleeping till 6 am.So for avoiding all that,i want to make my routine back and the result was amazing.Coming to the recipe, i made this for lunch along with usual South Indian lunch and this one made me full and i took less rice.Take more veggies and less rice and this is the wonderful idea to maintain you weight and you will be full once you start to take more veggies.

Peas paratha is easy to make paratha and i followed my stuffing ,used for making green peas kachori or koraishutir kochuri,bengali kachori made with peas and served with dum aloo.Peas paratha recipe is made with fresh peas which will be ground to fine paste and saute with spices.If you are using frozen green peas,thaw them and then proceed.I want the peas paratha little bit spicy ,so i added two green chillies in the recipe,you can add it as per your spice level.The dough for parathas are made with whole wheat flour,you can also use maida and whole wheat flour together.Rest the dough and then proceed the preparation for stuffing.This will give you soft parathas and you will able to roll it easily.

For me paratha rolling is little difficult as am afraid of filling would come out while rolling.But after making so many parathas in home,now able to make it easily without any hesitation.If you rolling paratha,make sure you floured the surface well and then roll it ,this will avoid the stickiness and gives you a perfect round shape.This is my favorite paratha now and i like the spicy stuffing inside,made with green chilli,peas,ginger and spice powders.Cool the stuffing completely before proceeding to roll the parathas.For folding and rolling the parathas,refer my paneer paratha for detailed stepwise post.

These parathas are well paired with mildly spiced gravies or with raita recipes.I want to go simply with yogurt,these parathas tastes more yummy with just yogurt itself.once the parathas are done,don't forget to smear it with butter or ghee on both sides.lets move on making the recipe.,

Ingredients
  • whole wheat flour - 1 cup
  • green peas - 1 cup
  • green chilli - 2 nos
  • ginger - 1/4 inch
  • asafoetida - a pinch
  • red chilli pwoder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • chat masala - 1/4 teaspoon
  • cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste
  • oil/ghee- as needed
Instructions
  1. Make a soft dough with flour,salt and water.Rest the dough for 30 minutes.Cover it with a damp towel.
  2. In the blender take green peas,green chilli and ginger.Make a coarse paste from it without adding water.Add or sprinkle water if needed.
  3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a kadai and add asafoetida to it.add the ground paste to it.
  4. Now add red chilli powder,cumin powder and chat masala to it and mix it well.
  5. Switch off the flame when the mixture comes like a dough.Cool it completely.
  6. Now take the dough and knead it again and divide them into equal medium sized balls.
  7. Likewise divide the stuffing into equal parts.Now roll the dough in the floured surface into a thick disc and place the stuffing in the centre.fold the edges and seal it well.
  8. Roll it again gently into thick disc(as per your convenience,you can roll it either thick or thin).Heat the skillet and place the paratha.
  9. Cook the paratha on medium flame till both the sides shows brown spots.Smear it with oil/butter/ghee and serve piping hot.
