Thinking of my mom. And smiling, of course. I remember when I was little and I used come home from the dentist, and mama would make me peanut butter sandwiches cut up so I could chew.. Do mamas often do this kinda stuff?
Well, you know you need your mamas when you’re in a dental crisis more than anything else. I guess I found that out this week. So as I cut my “samiches”..I was indeed thinking about my mama. And that made me happy.
As an adult, I no longer have mama right there so… It’s been a bit challenging, quite honest. But then too, I haven’t seen mom for many months. Dental pain can last for days. And you’re still not exactly right you find, a week later.
Out of all the memories I have of mom, I find this one to be the fondest, I couldn’t wait for those cut up peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, after being off for the afternoon. Perhaps that’s why I love them so, today.
I’ve decided to blog about gratefulness on my blog.
Where’s a better place, right?
I know. Blogs are the best.
And I am going to blog about the big blessings and the small. In the process I may have to define what gratefulness is, but I would love for you to join me on in the discussion, just shared what Gratefulness means to you.
Why is so special about noticing what youre grateful for?
Why is it important? And your best memory as a child?
What are you grateful for?
What’s the smallest, most significant thing that’s insignificant to others perhaps; and yet awesomely gracious to to and full of meaning and makes you happy?
