About 3 years ago, Indulgence was the only restaurant that serves a good cup of coffee in Ipoh. They recently opened a small cafe, Burps n Giggles in Ipoh Old Town. It was a very popular cafe which in turn attracted more cafe owners to rival them. Located on Jalan Sultan Yusuff, it is all up to customer preference to choose which of the 3 cafes are to their taste. Patisserie Boutique is very nicely decorated cafe and it gives off a very cosy vibe. With soft French music playing in the background, it was such a pleasure to have a chat with my friends over a satisfying cup of coffee (I even ordered another one). But I was expecting their pastry section to have more variety. I’d still recommend this place nonetheless.
Tip - Might want to have a light lunch before going there. Park at the open car park (RM3.00 - RM5.00 per entry).
