Paris Fashion Week, 2015 Highlights- Kangana Ranaut + Beauty Trends & Street-Style

By Januarycusp

Now, I am no expert at this- but I am going to go ahead & say that Paris Fashion Week is the crème de la crème of the Big Four Fashion Weeks. ( New York, London & Milan being the other three).

The Ready-to-wear/Fall-Winter Fashion Week was recently held from 3rd-11th March, and our very own Kangana Ranaut was at the front-row at Christian Dior's show. She even pulled off an uber-edgy look, while at a Mobile Phone Launch in Paris.

(Look at that Half-blazer/half-dress! And oooh yes, that's Manish Malhotra clicking a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower with her)

Anyhow, if I keep drooling over everything that she did and wore while at Paris, this will turn into an extremely lengthy post. So let's cut to the chase & get to the streets & makeup-rooms of Paris Fashion Week, 2015.

Best & Most Wearable Beauty Trends:

As far as the beauty trends are concerned, the eyes are certainly getting more & more theatrical. Double-flick eyeliners were spotted at Thierry Mugler's show, whereas Yves Saint Laurent chose extremely bold eyes with equally dramatic lips.

Although if we look at Chloé or Valentino's runway styles, they have definitely avoided any intense appearance. Their minimal face was youthful, dewy and so glam. The entire look felt effortless yet chic and completely put together.

So for all of you who don't like caking up your face, just do a fresh base paired with barely done eyes + neutral lips, and that should have you good to go. Have a look at how t'was done, & Paris will vouch for your style.

Even hair-wise, it seems like minimalist yet glam hairdos are here to stay. Elie Saab chose effortless, glossy soft waves while Christian Dior took the low, side pony-tail to a whole another level. Classic, uncomplicated hairstyles have always been my favourite & Paris Fashion Week had them everywhere. Yay!

Best Street-Style Looks

Ok, now onto the streets of Paris, which set trends as well whether there's a Fashion Week or not. Considering the cold months of March, the Coats were not a surprise, but Suede was really trending. And so were Capes. <3

Of course the Capes had to be donned by two of my favourite bloggers- Nicole Warne (garypeppergirl); and Chiara Ferragni (theblondesalad)

-Fringes are another style, which seem to making a comeback. (Just yesterday I saw the prettiest fringe bag ever at a Forever New's outlet. )

Lastly, you know how they say that you can never go wrong with Black? Well, the streets surely made me believe that while at Paris Fashion Week, this March.

That's all for today, people. I shall do another one in this series, covering the Best & the Most wearable Trends from the Runway. Come back for that, because it's going to very exciting to get the up-to-the-minute fashion scoop from the crème de la crème city
