Pancreatic Cancer _ Man-eater by 2030

There are a lot of life threatening diseases in the world and the percentage goes on increasing due to high amount of stress and changes in the lifestyle in the developed countries. Currently cancer is the most life threatening disease in the United States and to be precise cases of breast cancer and prostate cancer lead in the list. According to a recent survey, it is predicted that in the year 2030 Pancreatic cancer will top the charts and will join the family of Pancreatic and Lung cancers. It will be the top killer cancer, according to the study, which was done in the Cancer Research Journal which works for the Cancer Research.

The American Cancer Society has predicted that there would be approximately more than new 46,000 cases of pancreatic cancer diagnosed this year only in America and almost 39,000 people will die of it. Liver cancer cases will also go very high and many people will die of them. The death rates in the country will be very high and the deaths will be affecting the developed cities. This cancer will dodge the breast, prostate and colorectal cancer.  The factors that added to the high cases are the aging population and stressed lifestyle. This conclusion was done when the researchers observed the changes happened in the country which included the aging population, available treatment and measures of screening and prevention methods of the disease and the risk methods of the disease.

It has seen that the country who had better and advanced methods of the treatment and screening have reduced the number of prostate, breast and colorectal cancer cases.  This advancement can change the scenario, but it will require concerted effort and better health care remedies. Some of the cancer does not have any reliable tests to detect the disease and they don’t even have any surgery or treatment that can work. Some doctors and scientist say that blood tests can detect the disease which is expected to come soon. The fatality number will be higher by the year 2030 and then followed by the lung and liver cancer.

The doctors have stated that the rate of pancreatic cancer has increased slowly since the past 15 years and this rise is due to the frequency of obesity and diabetes. Americans face a high percentage of obesity along with the high calorie intake, junk food, lack of physical activity adds up to the occurrence of cancer and other diseases. The same percentage is in Europe, but it is not as severe as America where obesity is an epidemic. The numbers of cases are expected to rise in the next 16 years and will be seen in aged people. Pancreatic cancer is difficult to diagnose as it is less seen in the imaging due to its complex location in the body as they are surrounded by dense tissues that  do not allow drugs and chemotherapy to reach the tumor.  In some cases, surgery is the only option but less than 20% cases are not operable and that is the reason for high diagnosis percentage and fatal incidents.
