Sofas are such an important part of family life. They are somewhere to get comfy after a long day; somewhere to eat; somewhere to sleep; and, despite me telling him no, somewhere for Little Mr A to bounce. They see tears, laughter, love and lots of bums over the years and each has a story to tell.
Over our life together we have had a few sofas, some good and some not so! I do love a nice comfy sofa and could quite happily live on the one we have now, however, this has not always been the case!
When we moved into our first house together we didn't have much money and so our first sofa was a 'second' bought from a local market. It did the job but wasn't particularly comfy or even the style or colour we would have ideally chosen, but it was something to sit on!
Once we had a bit more money, we decided to treat ourselves to a new sofa. We bought a huge corner sofa which looked fabulous in the store. When the delivery came I was most embarrassed as it literally only just fit in our small front room! Big Mr A got a big telling off for not measuring up properly and making me look stupid! Although it was a squeeze it was a comfy sofa and was a great place to collapse after an afternoon at the pub (which was next door to our first house!).

Once we moved the sofa fit much better into our new house and it saw lots of fun; parties, christmases; I wouldn't like to guess how many people we had sat on that sofa at one time but it was a lot!
As we got older and started thinking about a family we realised a light coloured sofa with children probably wouldn't be a great idea. As Big Mr A's Mum and Dad were getting a new sofa they offered to give us their old one which was still in great condition and much better with little hands around!
That brings us up to the last sofa we bought and most certainly my favourite! It is another corner sofa but this time a smaller one which has fit nicely into all of the homes we have been in since. It is so incredibly comfy, people who come to stay often choose to sleep on it too rather than the blow up bed! I love to curl up on it at night once the children are in bed and it is a great place to snuggle up and watch a film!

I am hoping our present sofa will last a good while longer, however, I know if we do need a new one 123sofa offers a range of cheap corner sofas to suit everyone's tastes and budgets. You can visit 123sofa here.
