This is my entry into the Money Supermarket Road Trip Challenge:
Personally I always think the best road trips are those where you know you have something exciting at the end of it, like, in our instance a holiday! Everyone is excited to be heading off somewhere new and the car is always full of laughter and fun.
We often holiday in the UK as it is much easier when you have children and I also think there are so many beautiful places in this country I have either visited when I was young and want to take my children to, or haven’t even gotten around to visiting yet!
This year has been no exception, we have visited Derbyshire on holiday, a place with beautiful countryside that we haven’t fully explored yet as a family.
So this is our road trip from home to holiday….
Everyone was excited to be going away…
We said goodbye to the familiar power stations which are an everyday sight…
…and the ever recognisable Humber Bridge…
We headed along the long and boring motorway…
Before hitting the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire and our holiday destination!
