In recent years I have been suffering from under eye bags and circles, nothing that a dab of concealer won't hide but sometimes I need a little more just to combat the puffiness.
The Origins GinZing eye cream was one of the products I bought from the Glamour Power List event I went to at Selfridges a couple of weeks ago. I've been using it solidly every day since, and I have to say it is an absolutely fantastic product! Although I had read many rave reviews about it, I was put off as no where in my town stocks Origins and I was worried the jar would be too small to warrant the price (£21) but seeing as my eyes are the main feature of my face I decided to treat myself, and I'm glad I did!
The jar is actually a very reasonable size in real life (15ml) and you only need a pea sized amount for each eye, which I apply using my ring finger. On opening the jar you will find a peach tinted cream which looks like it has an extremely fine shimmer to it. The shimmer doesn't show up on the skin at all, or look shiny but instead helps to attract light to the area thus helping with dark circles and shadows. Once applied you can really feel this eye cream working, cooling, and tightening. I also apply this just under my brows as it really helps open up the eyes, leaving me looking bright and awake.
The GinZing eye cream is a pleasure to use because it really does give a noticeable difference, sinks in quickly, and helps my concealer to stay on longer, so this is definitely going to become one of my staple skincare products. I have experienced no irritation or red bumps, and have found it very soothing to use especially during my hay fever flare ups.
If you ever get the chance to try this wonder eye cream I would definitely recommend it. I'm pretty sure this jar is going to last me quite some time as I only use what's in the lid, and have barely made a dent in the product even with two or three weeks of continual use! The next thing I want to try is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask, as it sounds very hydrating. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for products I should try from Origins :-)
