This way, all of you lovely subscribers and viewers that were used to following my blog via facebook can still do so just by liking the new page :-)It was only by making this page that I realised I have been blogging for exactly one year TODAY!! So as a mini celebration I thought I would do a fun quiz and post it on here so that you can get to know a little bit more about me.
1. What is your dream job?
I would love to have my own cosmetics company or be someone that travels all over the world finding beautiful locations for films and music videos.
2. What is your favorite fragrance for Winter?
This winter I absolutely adored W1X by Bex.
3. How do you take your tea/coffee?
Tea: Two sugars and milkCoffee: I always put two spoons of coffee granules, then two sugars followed by a tiny bit of hot water. Then I stir in the milk until it's a nice medium brown colour, then top up with hot water. Very specific I know but it makes the texture nice and creamy :-)
4. What is your most important beauty secret?
Accept yourself, flaws and all! If you can learn to accept and love what you have you will always feel beautiful.
5. If you had an all expenses paid vacation, where would you go?
Japan!
6. If a genie popped up in your lap right now and offered you three wishes, what would you ask for?
1. World peace of course!2. Real unicorns that you can ride on their back into town3. Three more wishes ;-)
7. If you could only have breakfast, lunch, dinner or desert foods for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
Probably dinner because it's the meal I look most forwards to in the day.
8. If you were Hello Kitty what color hair bow would you wear?
Black. I'd be a goth version of Hello Kitty.
9. What is your biggest makeup pet peeve?
When people wear liquid eyeliner but its all smudged and cracked! Ugggh.
10. If you could wear only one piece of jewelry for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My silver and turquoise ring, I wear it nearly everyday and it pretty much goes with everything.
11. What one talent do you wish you had?
I'd love to play the harp. It's my favorite instrument, perhaps one day I will actually invest in some lessons.
12. Which product will you continue to purchase?
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse as it has transformed the condition of my hair or Luster's Pink Hair Moisturiser as my mom had used this on my hair since I can remember and it is a god send for anyone with mixed or afro Caribbean hair texture.
13. If you could look into the future, would you? And what would you like to know?
Nope! I think i'd rather keep it as a surprise :-)
14. Who is your biggest celebrity crush? Include a picture!
AHAHAHA!!!15. What made you start a blog?
I have been part of the Youtube beauty community since around 2007. I even had my own beauty channel on Youtube at one point but I stopped posting videos after someone I knew in real life found me on there. This really knocked my confidence for some reason and I just couldn't bring myself to make more videos... Eventually it made sense to start my own blog where I could post whatever I wanted without feeling so 'exposed' although I have started to add videos to my blog recently. So far it has been great fun, I see it as a hobby and a great way of communicating with like minded people.
