One Pot Goulash

By Veronica46

One Pot Goulash is an easy, delicious and comforting dinner your whole family will enjoy.

One Pot Goulash

I doubt if there is anything more comforting than Goulash. Lets face it, meat, cheese, macaroni and this new Ragu Homestyle sauce is the closest to comfort you will get.

I was recently asked by the bereavement committee at my church to make something for an upcoming funeral. I asked what they would like and they said anything you think would comfort the family. My first thought was this Goulash with the Ragu Homestyle sauce. I know that when I need comfort this is the first thing that I want.

It is cheap and easy. With the Ragu Homestyle sauces, making it is a breeze. I love that clean up is minimal since it cooks in the same pot.

I love that this dish freezes well so if you make a big batch you can divide it up and have a few extra meals to enjoy later.

When I brought it to the church I stuck around to see if there was anything I could do to help out. As I was standing there helping serve the food it struck me that in all the years I have been bringing dishes for the funerals we never had anyone bring the same dish. We do not have a sign up sheet. We just call and ask and figure that God will figure that out. I love the convenience of Ragu Homestyle sauces.

When everything was said and done, I left the kitchen to get my container and there was nothing left. So I guess it did give them the comfort they were looking for. Ragu Homestyle sauces is so easy to incorporate into almost any recipe. When you are trying to feed the masses, or just your own family, Ragu Homestyle fits the bill.

This is how I made this dish.

Directions:

In a large skillet brown ground beef until no longer pink.
Add Ragu and stir to combine. allow to simmer 10 minutes. Add macaroni and stir to combine. Sprinkle cheese over top and allow to melt. I love to use cheddar or Monterey Jack for this.
