So …I really didn’t feel this house we moved into initially. I don’t even think I was feeling Oklahoma. But after three years if being here, it’s finally become the comfy cozy home I enjoy being in. My first home in Oklahoma. And definitely not my last. Ready to fill it with smiles and giggles cries and joys of little people. I say this to say once you’re home, you JUST KNOW IT. You feel it and it peacefully yours. I had a cousin once ask me: “So how do you know when you are home?” I responded by saying: “Home is where the heart is.” We often look for external cues to offer us meaning, but today I say:
“Determine to feel what’s real and let this be your thermometer for dictating what’s true.”
Selah.
I have really enjoyed the several places I have made home over the years, Rochester NY , Syracuse NY, Gaithersburg, MD and Denton Texas. Texas was never on the radar, til I met my husband. But i have so enjoyed the people i have met along the way… I feel like some I will see again, and others…. oh well.. when we all get to heaven… ( smile)
