When I was growing up we were very close to our neighbors, in every way! We practically shared a driveway in Kensington Village in Great Neck, New York, separated only by a low line of hedges with an opening to get from one side to the next. Rachel was the youngest of three daughters, and I am about 10 years older. That meant, that in addition to the time we spent together as families, I was an easy fit for a babysitter, so this little girl, now a beautiful woman, was like family to me.
Rachel is a talented makeup artist ~ a path we all knew she would travel down since she was a tiny, little thing ~ and she introduced me to Mark products. Hypoallergenic, para been fee, affordable, and never tested on animals. Even the cute accessories they sell are faux leather!
I am really particular about makeup. If it doesn't feel or look or last the way I want it to, I will not buy it again. Well, Rachel sent me a sample of the gloss she sells just to try it, the Glow Baby Glow hook up (how clever is that name? Oh - and it literally hooks up to something but I'm sure it's meant for more than that 😉.) The texture was really nice, not gummy or gloppy, and it had nice staying power ~ it didn't immediately come off on my coffee cup! And it comes in colors like blow kisses, sweet talk, girly girl and pink crush ~ super cute! Of course they have other glosses, like plumpers and high shine, and then liners for lips and eyes, shadows, foundations and so much more. Even clothing!
