Boiled peanuts are a southern staple. Here in Virginia you can get them almost anywhere. They have roadside stands selling vegetables all along 58.
Here in Virginia there are dozens of places between Emporia and Suffolk that sell these delectable treats. We have peanut warehouses everywhere. We even have a planters peanut plant in Suffolk.
I personally love them with a cold beer or coke while watching a game. Some people think we should soak them to quick the cooking time. I have never tried that.
I love the taste of the old bay but some love the kick of Cajun seasonings instead of the old bay.
