Ok, so now that I've decided I'm growing my hair I've become very impatient and am massively regretting cutting it all off on a whim. I even did the unthinkable and most ridiculous thing ever.....I Googled how to make your hair grow faster. I had done this a few times last time I was growing my hair, even though I know full well that there is no way to make your hair faster. A few of the tips that I thought were a good idea include:
  • Using a regular deep conditioning treatment. One of the benefits of growing your hair from very short is that the hair is new and good quality.
  • Eat a diet containing protein and lots of veg, that can only be a good thing right?!
  • Avoid harsh treatments such as extreme bleaching and constant straightening. Again this is to protect the new hair and prevent breakage.
Ultimately these won't make hair grow quicker but by looking after and protecting against breakage hair will be a better quality and therefore won't require as many trims and you can protect the growth.
I'm starting to wonder if I will ever actually be happy with my hair. When its blonde I want it dark, when its dark I want it blonde, when its short I want it long and when its long I want it short! I am actually never happy with my hair. I think I'm having a bad hair day lifetime!
