October is my month! So far, it has been an amazing month for me.
Thursday, October 8th: My 22nd birthday! My mom cooked some spaghetti and puto (Filipino dessert). I just stayed at home since my boyfriend had to stay in school til late at night to study for their group presentation the next day.
Friday, October 9th: Had birthday dinner with my boyfriend and he bought me a gift too. I also got hired to work at this clothing store (this is where I’ll be working for now since I’m going on a vacation in the Philippines soon, so I’ll start looking for a FT job once I get back).
Sunday, October 11th: Birthday lunch with the parents and did some shopping too. We also had a family gathering that night for my aunt’s birthday and thanksgiving dinner as well.
Monday, October 12th : Thankgiving Day + I voted for the first time in my life!
…and next week, October 22nd will be my university graduation!
There’s so much things in life to be thankful for!

The first time I saw this leather jacket, I fell in love LOL I really like how the zipper is on the side and if you don’t zip it all the way through, it would fold. It’s similar to Jaclyn Hill’s!

I just realized that these hand soaps were a bit pricey LOL they were 3 for $18, and I could get a deep cleansing hand soap of the same size and quality at dollar store for $2 *facepalm*

The one that I have right now is not fully empty yet, so I might not start using this one until November. I’ve been using this brush cleaner for almost 11 months (cleaning my brushes every 3-5/6 uses) and I will definitely keep repurchasing this!
❦ Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer
I’ve been wanting to try this product for quite a while now after hearing lots of good reviews about it, especially that I have oily/combo skin. Graduation is next week and I want something that will help with oil control, so I hope this one works well for me.

Finally, a melted lipstick set! I was really hesitant on buying the full size since I don’t usually put lipsticks on. I’m so excited to try these out!

My no-buy was a success! I told myself not to buy anything until my birthday month, so I could get this with my purchase. I like the red one, not quite sure about the other shade though, but we’ll see.

I got this from playing the Sephora thing LOL I’m glad I got this one since I’ve also been wanting to try the porefessional.

I was supposed to get the ABH Shadow Couture palette as well, but I didn’t want to spend that much and I don’t really need it, but I kinda really want it, so I might still get that one when I receive my first paycheck from my new job HAHA! I’m also trying to save up as much as I can since I only have 3 months before my 5-week vacation in the Philippines!! I’m so excited!
Also, I don’t think that I’m going to buy any holiday sets this year since I’m not really attracted to most of them. What about you? Have you bought something yet or are you still saving up for some of it?
