WHAT I GOT FOR MY MAKEUP BAG :

THE REVIEWPACKAGING :I had been eyeing this foundation for quiet a while before I finally gave into the temptation of its sexy slender bottle with a lace design on it. Now that I have started off with its packaging, let me tell you that it is definitively the most intelligently designed pump foundation bottle..so hats off to its packaging. Now you must be thinking that most foundations come in a pump action bottle, well yes ladies they do!! But how many of them are a pump-action bottle foundation, which empty themselves out like an injection???? YES!!...its empties itself like an INJECTION!!!! So minimal wastage...Its pump is not connected to a pipe, but it works by sucking the foundation out, meanwhile its inner base keeps on lifting itself on usage.
TEXTURE & CONSISTENCY : Remember how fevicol looks when you take a drop of it in your hand, put in the shade color, and you have exactly what this foundation looks like.The consistency is thick although this does not effect an easy application.
SHADES AVAILABLE : 16
MY EXPERIENCE : The foundation gives a dewy-matt finish with pretty good coverage, but you need to put moisturizer or primer on first to make sure no skin-flakes will show (I have dry skin on my forehead and around lips), but the product does go on smoothly. The foundation is fantastic, and very much suitable for all skin types. Only downside maybe that despite having so many shades, it still might be bit of a work to find an exact match. I have 06 natural and 09 Sand beige, 06 is too light and 09 is bit too dark on my skin tone. Sadly I could never find any shade in between 06 and 09. So of-course I have to mix them! It has SPF 15 so it make it good for day ( just wear it over a sun screen if you need more protection) and great for night ( SPF25 and above give you that ghost face, as the flash picks up the SPF)

- NYX does not test on animals ( I know this might be important to many of you)
- Faint smell, which is absolutely fine for me
- Dewey finish, imparts a healthy glow to the face.
- Has SPF 15
- The price is a letdown (being an import product almost doubles its price :( ...)
- Limited availability
- May not work out for extremely dry skin.
- Shade rage is bit weird, my exact shade would be in between 06 an 07 :P
