NYX Cream Blush in Orange
NYX Cream Blush in Orange ($6.75 = Rs.441.62) - is a highly pigmented cream blush without shimmer/glitter in it which I like and find wearable. Orange may give a nice dewy effect on a face with no pores or little pores because I have pores around my cheek (close to nose) area and I found it a little accentuated with this blush. But it did not break me out at all.
Its texture is silky but feels a little grainy when you rub it with with two fingers but this is not the case when you are applying it. It blends easily gives orange-y flush to the cheeks which is wearable every now and then. I doubt that this shade can be worn daily as it might look odd with your outfits sometimes. But it's totally me.
I am fascinated by its staying power and like how it makes cheeks look more dewy and fresh as the time goes and the blush fades but NOT completely. It would stay for long hours.
I find it really difficult to apply these cream blushes with a brush. It is hard to take the right amount of blush on brush and you can not even tap the brush to lose the excess of it. This is my first review on a cream blush (Blush Review) so not sure if this could be the case with all cream blushes or I have a wrong blush-brush. I found application with fingers to be very smooth, fresh and natural in comparison with the application with a brush.
I bought this blush from Cherry Culture but it is now available online on most of the Indian websites for cosmetics. I couldn't find Orange available though.
I had always believed and made myself believe that I am going to love cream blushes but this did not happen. I am still drawn to my powder blushes or my Maybelline Blush on Plum which is mousse like in texture. Still I want to keep all of NYX cream blushes with me because they are irresistible to me and the price make them more tempting.
Rating - A Good-To-Have-One product.
