Being backstage during New York Fashion Week is CRAZY. This was the first time for me so I had a lot of emotions. The fashion world can be very intimidating and scary sometimes. It's like high school but on steroids. Frightful? Right? Anyhow, I overcame my nerves and made it backstage for Naeem Khan. I tagged along with the Pattie Yankee team to see the behind the scenes nail looks. I know most of the time you're captivated by the hair, makeup and clothes but don't be mistaken- their nails are also on point! I chatted up with Pattie Yankee who is a celebrity manicurist about the color choice for the show. Pattie picked "Wine" from her nail lacquer line because the designer wanted a color that represented a woman that was well put together. The deep burgundy of "Wine" is such a gorgeous color and I think it did its job!
