Nubar: 2010

Some say that 2012 will be the year of the flakies. It seems to be the case for almost all polish companies are pushing out some flakies of sorts - FingerPaints, Zoya, Essie, etc. And for good reason too - it's a very simple way to jazz up your basic manicure!
One of my favorite flakies has to be Nubar 2010. It has been around for quite a while already but still has my heart. <3

If you don't already know, I'm a huge sucker for duochromes. Color-shifting flakies are no exceptions. Just look how pretty it is! Red, orange, yellow, gold and green! The main color seems to be red/orange. When layered over black, it really looks like glowing embers.

The green doesn't really show up as much on the nails unless you angle them like so:

Am I the only one who thinks that this is what setting fire to the rain on a dark night looks like?
