New Venture Walker by Vionic – My #SoleStory

By Debi Lantzer @debiL1611

I recently received the Venture walker from Vionic so I wanted to put them to the test following my recent trip to Ohio. The shoe itself is made of a lightweight durable mesh and man-made overlays which give the Venture walker a sporty look while promoting breathability and comfort for confidence with each step. The shoe features Orthaheel Technology, a biomechanic orthotic footbed that naturally aligns your feet and may help to relieve heel pain by reducing over-pronation. The shoe has a durable rubber outsole with a removable covered EVA footbed with 1st Ray Flexor technology. The shoe received the APMA Seal of Acceptance.

Podiatrist designed Vionic with Orthaheel Technology has given thousands of people the freedom to enjoy life free of foot, leg and back pain! Vionic makes more than just closed toe shoes too! They have many different styles of great sandals and they are the only sandals recommended by the APMA and Dr. Andrew Weil, and are also endorsed by celebrity trainer Juliet Kaska.

Why is this Orthoheel technology important? We typically walk on hard, flat, unnatural surfaces and our feet weren't made for that. The hard surfaces cause our feet to over-pronate (roll over) and that can flatten our arches, increase pressure on our lower backs and disrupt normal knee function and hip alignment. Who knew??

Vionic Footwear with Orthaheel Technology offers footwear that helps prevent and alleviate foot pain and fits a variety of lifestyles. Vionic shoes feature a removable orthotic footbed that supports feet and helps realign the lower-legs, improving posture and balance - an ideal option for daily fitness walking. According to Dr. Andrew Weil, "Walking can become almost equal to jogging in terms of getting your heart rate pumping for a healthy cardiovascular workout. It is probably the safest [exercise] option of all, with the least chance of injury."

Disclosure: I received a pair of Vionic Walking Shoes for review in exchange for my honest review and unbiased opinion. I was not compensated for my time or for this post.
