So here is the start of my New Year's resolution, purchasing one item for my wardrobe a week. I think this will do me a world of wonders when adding new items to the clothing rail because my style is forever changing I am able to keep up with it more easily if I am able to buy something every week. It might sound slightly crazy to most people, but this way I can keep control on what I am buying as well as fix my 'drobe'
The first item of the year I brought was this jacket from ASOS. I haven't been on their website for ages & I had an email saying they had a 70% off sale going on so I thought it would be rude not to check it out. I can tell you now I wasn't all that impressed with the sale but I did find the item above. It was reduced from £40 to £16 so I think it is very much so a steal.
When it arrived the first thing I noticed was the superb quality, It is an extremely soft material and has faux leather trimming. I tried it on and instantly fell in love with the fit and how it sits on my body. I have been all back into my love for monochrome and this jacket fits perfectly into my new wardrobe change. Something about the start of the year has just made me question myself more when buying clothes and whether I will get good wear out of the item. So rest assured I thought long and hard about purchasing this item which is why I probably wouldn't of paid £40 because it doesn't have any fastenings & isn't the warmest of jackets for the winter. But for £16 I can't complain! Definitely my new staple piece. - Have you had any steals in the January sales?
