This week on today's new in post is the new shoes and jeans I wore in my previous outfit post HERE. Having never shopped on Boohoo I didn't really now what to expect & seeing the prices varying from Primark prices to ASOS prices I thought it could be a little hit and miss with the quality of the items. However the two items I did buy featuring below, the lace up heels and patchwork jeans were amazing quality for the price. Boohoo is now going to be a new online shop added to my list of favourites.
The first item I had brought was these patchwork jeans! How I have longed for a pair like this forever. Searching high and low for a simple patchwork denim seemed impossible, A lot of pairs I saw featured floral prints on the jeans & they were jeans I definitely did not want to own. The final resort I went for was simply typing into the google shopping app Patchwork jeans & that's where I came across these 'Libbie Patchwork Skinny Jeans'. I added these to my March wish list which can be seen HERE and couldn't resist my urge any longer to buy them. The one thing I loved about shopping on Boohoo was the ease of the website, secondly how many discount codes they offer the customer and thirdly the extremely fast delivery. After ordering these and the Lace up heels below on Friday they then arrived on Monday afternoon YAY!.
These jeans are super comfy, I ordered these in a 10 and the fit is very true to size. The only thing I have to really moan about If I was to be super picky is the length of the jeans, at a length of 31" I have to roll them up depending on what shoes I am wearing. But I can't really moan as I am a teeny 5'4. The softness of the denim is a big thumbs up for me, I don't feel restricted at all. One last thing as to why I love them so much would be the ease of styling them down with a pair of pumps or styling them up for a dinner date with some heels. I have had so many compliments on these its quite unbelievable, I think people remember this style from the 90's & it jogs ever ones memory back. They are a huge steal for £25 as they will be a really timeless feature in your wardrobe.
Now for my serious bargain of the week, the 'Julia Peep Toe Lace Up Heels'. They are at #1 for the sexiest heel I own. I have been wanting to get my hands on a pair of lace up heels after seeing Claire from Hey Claire, wearing a pair she had brought from Zara. Seeing this pair on Boohoo for £20 was an opportunity not to be missed, because once people now how cheap they are everyone and their mothers will want a pair. The quality was the thing that really stood out to me, they are very sturdy and the laces are reasonably strong. You receive 2 replaceable heel studs if the other ones wear down which I think was a lovely touch as I usually go and get mine replaced at the cobblers. Once you have re adjusted the laces to your fit, there is no more fiddling around as a zip comes on the back making it an easily accessible for your feet to get in and out of. I have worn them once and they are an OK comfort, not a shoe to be wearing for hours on end but definitely bearable. I hope you enjoyed this weeks post Leigh xo
